AntlerMax® Deer Breeder Textured 17-6 Feed, now containing new Climate Guard® supplement,
is a highly fortified textured ration for confined deer designed to meet the extra nutritional demands of high
scoring bucks during antler development. This diet is also uniquely designed to supply extra nutrition to deer
during their life stages when nutritional requirements are accelerated: does during lactation; does and bucks
regaining body weight after the rut; and deer regaining body condition following periods of reduced intake due
to climatic factors or illness. It is also an excellent creep and weaning ration for fawns.

Features & Benefits

Climate Guard® supplement

Encourages feeder visits to provide the nutrition needed to support weight gain and body condition. Comprised of high quality ingredients that support rumen function, gut heath and optimal nutrient utilization. Supports digestibility of starch in the small intestine. AntlerMax® pellets, patented energy nugget, cracked and whole grains

For development of improved antler size and mass. New and improved formula provides for a high intake of high-quality proteins including AntlerMax® By-Pass Protein technology that deliver high concentrations of amino acids needed by the growing antler. Helps develop deer with exceptional body size. High-quality protein helps build muscle for improved body growth.

Diamond V® Yeast

Help improve feed intake and digestibility – Diamond V has conducted research with deer that demonstrates that under some conditions feed intake and forage digestibility were improved with the addition of Diamond V® Yeast.

Enhanced levels of vitamins and minerals

Helps support antler growth, density and strength. Enhanced levels of calcium, phosphorous, magnesium and vitamin D. Contains proprietary AntlerMax® Mineral Technology including organic trace minerals for replenishing depleted bone material stores used during antler mineralization.

Feeding Directions

Description
Feed AntlerMax® Breeder Textured 17-6 feed to deer in confinement. For best results hand feed in a trough. To reduce feed loss to birds and other non-target species feed what the animals will clean up in approximately an hour in the mornings and evenings. Depending on physiological stage of the animals and hay quality, consumption should be in the range of 2% - 4% of body weight. Feeding in a self-feeder is not recommended. This is not a high fiber feed and should supply necessary nutrients except fiber. Feed good quality legume hay free-choice.

This product may be fed to elk.
Caution
This feed contains added copper and should not be fed to sheep. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area protected from rodents and insects. Do not feed moldy or insect-infested feed to animals as it may cause illness, performance loss or death.
Special Considerations
Regulations for the feeding of big game can vary from state to state. Please check with your local game and fish department for the proper usage of this product.
Management Practices
1. A feeding program is only as effective as the management practices. Actual results can vary depending upon feed intake, environmental conditions, and the quality of the management practices.

2. Provide a source of fresh, clean water at all times.

3. Provide salt free-choice.

4. When changing rations, the change should be made gradually over a period of 7-10 days. Gradually reduce the amount of old ration while gradually increasing the amount of new ration until the ration change is complete.

5. This feed contains vitamin and mineral levels adequate for most situations therefore a supplemental source of vitamins and minerals is usually not necessary unless adequate feed intake is not achieved.

6. Consult your veterinarian for a recommended herd health program.
